The place was as advertised, clean and bright. Everything we could have needed was provided including specialty electric appliances, snorkeling equipment, etc. Bernarda was a phenomenal host \u2013 welcomed us and checked in to make sure we did not need anything else. Bernarda and het husband Jose are incredibly welcoming and helpful. The property is absolutely beautiful, clean, quiet, with a private beach and stunning pool overlooking the ocean. I could go on about how wonderful this place is! It\u2019s truly a gem! The apartment sis modern and clean. Fantastic ocean views from the balcony. Kitchen has everything you need., fast WIFI, great airconditioning. Playa Blanca is an amazing beach. Nice sand and water. Snorkeling. Tide pools at low tide. So many scarlet macaws! We saw a few monkeys. There is also a restaurant right there and the rental includes a club pass. The resort area is huge in a lush forest setting with a 15 minute drive from the first security gate at the main road. By far the best we have seen in the Punterenas Province. The place is perfectly located only 55 miles from SJO airport. You have a private walking access to the beach. And a bracelet that allows you the use of the club amenities. The perfect spot to unwind and relax. You also have the ability to book tours right with the Playa Blanca staff at the beach entrance.<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<div class=\"elementor-element elementor-element-c7b894c e-con-full The apartment is modern and clean. Fantastic ocean views from the balcony. Kitchen has everything you need, fast WiFi (though the signal in the bedrooms is weak), great air conditioning. Playa Blanca is an amazing beach. Nice sand and water. Snorkeling. Tide pools at low tide. So many scarlet macaws! We saw a few monkeys once but unfortunately not more. There\u2019s also a restaurant right there and Jose\u2019s rental includes the club pass.A couple of things to note. Many people mentioned the stairs. It\u2019s a convenient direct access but it isn\u2019t the easiest walk back up and left me winded. Also, Punta Leona is really nice but I didn\u2019t appreciate how enormous it is and how deep into the property the apartment is. It takes 15-20 mins to drive in or out. So add on 15-20 mins to everything. We ended up leaving less than expected. But that wasn\u2019t really a bad thing. Punta Leona has several restaurants, stores, perfect beach, pools and wildlife. By far the best we\u2019ve seen in Puntarenas Province. Jose\u2018s place is perfectly located in Playa Blanca. Conveniently located 55 miles from SJO airport. You have a private walking access to the beach. You also get a bracelet that allows you the use of the club amenities, including the main pool. There is also good size heated infinity pool next to Jose\u2018s building. The perfect spot to unwind and relax. You also have the ability to book tours right with the playa Blanca staff at the beach entrance. The apartment itself is modern and well kept. You have a view of the ocean from the balcony. We\u2019ve stayed at Jose\u2019s several times and will continue to pick this place. The pool and view were spectacular and the beach was absolutely beautiful with calm waters ideal for kids. We happened to go when it was very hot and the pool was as warm as a bath during the day but became pleasant after dusk. There were lots of iguanas running around, which was a treat! The hosts were wonderful.
